De Nieuwe Ruimte offers a safe, peaceful and familiar setting, ideal for teambuilding. Set on a quiet street, free of distraction, with a lovely garden where teams can catch up informally during a (coffee or tea) break. This combination of calmness, comfort and flexibility makes it the perfect venue for team-building sessions.

The room can be left empty for a range of activities such as games, hot chair, family constellations, drawing, or brainstorming sessions with post-its and flip charts. A circle layout with chairs works well for discussions. Three corners of the main room and the adjoining breakout room (up to 12 people) can be used as breakout spaces.

Our catering features seasonal menus changing every month. Prepared with top-quality ingredients bought fresh each day and organic wherever possible. Everything is put together with a lot of care and with attention to dietary requirements and allergens. Prepared in our own kitchen downstairs and artfully placed on platesd for a cared for presentation.

De Nieuwe Ruimte is centrally located in Amsterdam, on a quiet street close to the Waterlooplein and Nieuwmarkt. The venue is excellently served by public transport: one metro stop from Amsterdam Central Station and three stops from Amstel Station, with tram and bus stops nearby. If you’re coming by car, there are four public car parks within a five-minute walk.

Good morning. Last night was my first time at De Nieuwe Ruimte. I was really impressed by the atmosphere, the great care taken, the lovely food and everyone’s attention. What a fantastic place.
